본 연구에서는 전환기에 놓여있는 초기 청소년을 대상으로 부모애착과 우울의 관계에서 교사, 또래애착 및 학교유대감이 매개효과를 보이는지 검증하였다. 연구를 위해 D광역시에 소재한 K초등학교 5학년 학생 156명을 대상으로 부모 및 또래애착 척도, 교사애착 척도, 학교유대감 척도, 우울 척도를 실시하였다. 자료는 초등학교 5학년 시기부터 중학교 1학년 시기까지 1년 간격으로 3차례에 걸쳐 수집되었다. 수집된 자료는 구조방정식모형으로 분석되었으며, 매개효과의 유의성을 확인하기 위해 붓스트래핑을 적용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 초5 시기의 부모애착이 중1 시기의 우울에 직접 미치는 영향은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 초5 시기의 부모애착은 초6 시기의 교사애착을 매개로 초6 시기 또래애착과 학교유대감에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 초6 시기의 교사애착과 또래애착은 초6 시기의 학교유대감을 매개로 중1 시기의 우울에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 초5 시기의 부모애착은 초6 시기의 교사 및 또래애착과 학교유대감을 순차적으로 완전매개 하여 중1 시기의 우울에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 밝혀진 결과는 초기 청소년이 경험하는 우울의 원인을 이해하고, 나아가 우울의 예방과 개입을 위해 가정과 학교가 함께 협력하는 다차원적 접근이 필요함을 시사한다.

The present study was conducted to examine the mediating effects of teacher attachment, peer attachment, and school connectedness on the relation between parent attachment and depression in early adolescents. Participants of the study were 156 students, initially in the 5th grade, from K elementary school in D metropolitan city. Data from parent and peer attachment scale, teacher attachment scale, school connectedness scale and depression inventory were collected at 3 different time points(T1=5th grade, T2=6th grade, T3=1st grade in middle school). Collected data were analyzed with structural equation modeling, and bootstrapping technique was applied to test the mediating effects. The results of the study were as follows. First, the direct effect of T1 parent attachment on T3 depression was not statistically significant. Second, T1 parent attachment influenced T2 peer attachment and school connectedness through T2 teacher attachment. Third, T2 teacher attachment and peer attachment influenced T3 depression through T2 school connectedness. Fourth, T1 parent attachment was found to affect T3 depression by mediating sequentially and completely T2 teacher and peer attachment and school connectedness. Results suggested that a multi-dimensional approach that cooperates with home and school is needed to develop effective prevention and intervention programs for early adolescents' depression.
