유아교육에서는 지속적으로 페미니즘과 여성성에 대한 다양한 논의들이 이루어져 왔으며, 이에 대한 시각은 교사에게 긍정적인 여성성의 방향으로 주로 연구되어왔다. 이에 본 연구에서는 페미니즘과 여성성에 관련된 교사교육을 접한 경험이 있는 유아교사들이 여성성을 어떻게 인식하는가를 알아보기 위하여 교사 5명을 대상으로 마인드맵을 활용한 심층면담을 실행하였다. 그리고 이를 포스트휴먼 페미니즘의 시각에서 바라보았으며, 교사들의 여성성 인식은 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 유아교사에게 요구되어지는 돌봄, 배려로 대표되는 여성성 이미지는 유아교사들로 하여금 엄마의 역할과 경계를 모호하게 하였고, 이로 인해 교사는 소진됨과 어려움을 경험하였다. 둘째, 여성성이라는 고정된 이미지는 교사를 억압하고 있었고, 교직문화에 맞는 가면을 쓰도록 요구하였다. 그들은 이를 당연시 여기는 교직문화와 여성 유아교사의 근무환경 문제들을 소수자적 관점에서 비판하고 여성성이라는 주체에서 탈주하고자 하는 욕망을 보였다. 셋째, 그들의 목소리는 돌봄의 역할을 수행하지 않겠다는 파괴적 의미의 접근은 아니었으며, 그러한 역할이 ‘여성성’이 아닌 포스트휴먼 윤리학에서와 같이 공동체적으로 실천되어야 하는 것임을 이야기하였다. 본 연구는 기존의 여성성을 바라보던 시각을 포스트휴먼 페미니즘으로 접근하여 그 속에 은폐된 억압과 소수자적 교사의 목소리를 들어볼 수 있었음에 의의가 있다. 또한 이분법적 젠더 개념과 사회적으로 고정된 주체 개념을 탈피하여 포스트휴먼 시대에 맞추어진 복잡한 섹슈얼리티에 대한 조명과 윤리학적 방향을 시사하였다.
In the field of early childhood education, there have been various discussions about feminism and femininity, often viewed in a positive direction. This study questioned this tendency and conducted an in - depth interview using mind maps in order to investigate how the early childhood teachers experience feminism and femininity. The result was interpreted from the perspecive of Post Human Feminism. The study showed five early childhood teachers perceiving femininity as follows. First, the feminine image required of early childhood teachers makes early childhood teachers obscure the roles and boundaries of their mothers. This caused the teacher to experience difficulties. Second, the fixed image of femininity acted as a suppression to teachers and required them to use masks that fit the teaching culture. Early childhood teachers showed their desire to escape from the image of femininity. Third, it was not a destructive approach to not doing the role of care, but also that such a role should be expressed in post-human ethics, not 'femininity'. This study revealed hidden suppression in the viewpoint of the existing femininity. In addition, it was meaningful to hear the voices of the minority teachers and to discuss the fact that the role of the early childhood teacher should be performed as a post-human being by breaking away from the notion of femininity.
