본 연구에서는 2017년 한국에서 개최된 FIFA U-20 월드컵 대회에 참가한 자원봉사자들의 심리적 계약이 자원봉사 지속의도에 미치는 영향력을 검증하였다. 또한 이 과정에서 자원봉사자들이 대회 및 봉사활동에 대해 지니는 정서적 몰입이 매개 역할을 하는가를 살펴보았다. 가설 검증을 위해 FIFA U-20 대회 개최 도시 중 네 지역에서 근무한 자원봉사자 170명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 이후 SPSS 21.0과 Lisrel 9.0을 활용하여 다음과 같은 연구 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 대회에 참가한 자원봉사자들이 느끼는 심리적 계약 이행의 정도는 자원봉사에 대한 정서적 몰입에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 자원봉사에 대한 정서적 몰입은 자원봉사 지속의도에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)적 영향을 미쳤다. 마지막으로 심리적 계약 이행이 자원봉사 지속의도에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 봉사에 대한 정서적 몰입이 완전 매개의 역할을 하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine how volunteers' psychological contract affected to intention to continue volunteering at 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup. Also, the mediating role of affective commitment towards volunteering was also investigated. To examine hypothesis, the survey questionnaires were distributed to volunteers across four hosting cities of FIFA U-20 World Cup and 170 surveys were used for the final data analysis using SPSS 21.0 and Lisrel 9.0. The results of the study are as follows. First, volunteers' psychological contract significantly affected to volunteers' affective commitment. Second, volunteers' affective commitment significantly affected to intention to continue volunteering. Third, affective commitment towards volunteering fully mediated between volunteers' psychological contract and intention to continue volunteering.
