이 연구는 시각장애 청소년을 대상으로 스마트폰 중독사용 경험을 분석함으로 중독 관련 요인을 파악하고자 실시되었다. 본 연구는 현상학적 방법을 사용한 질적연구이다. 연구자들은 스마트폰 중독의 위험을 보이는 9명의 시각장애 청소년들과 면담을 실시한 후, 면담내용을 분석하였다. 연구 참여자들이 면담을 통해 표현된 스마트폰 중독적 사용 경험으로부터 4가지 주요 개념을 발견하였다. 4가지 주요 개념은 스마트폰 중독적 사용에 대한 인식 부족, 스마트폰 집착 이유, 스마트폰 사용에서 나타난 중독 증상, 스마트폰 사용 관련 요구이다. 이 4가지 주요 개념들로부터 발견되는 스마트폰 중독 관련 요인들을 찾아서 제시함과 더불어 후속연구에 대한 제언을 실시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to grasp addiction-related factors by analyzing the experience in the addiction use of Smart phone targeting a adolescent with visual impairment. This study is a qualitative research using the phenomenological method. The research team members conducted an interview with 9 adolescents with visual impairment, who showed a risk of the addiction use of Smart phone, and then analyzed the interview contents. This study found out four sorts of major concepts from the addictive use experience in Smart phone which was expressed by the participants in the research. The four major concept included the lack of awareness of the addictive use of Smart phone, reasons to be obsessed with Smart phone, addiction symptoms revealed in Smart phone use, and requests related to Smart phone use. This study presented the factors related to addiction to Smart phone, which are discovered from these 4 major concepts, and made a proposal to follow-up researches as well.
