본 논문은 낙재 서사원(1550~1615)의 선유시를 주목하여, 금호강에 대한 감성을 중심으로 그의 선유시를 분석하였다. 서사원은 젊었을 때에는 이천정사를, 만년에는 선사재에 완락재라는 건물을 짓고 대구의 문인들과 함께 선유를 했다. 서사원은 금호강에서 은거하며, 선유를 통해 금호강의 경치를 감상하거나, 대구의 문인들과 어울렸다. 이러한 활동 속에서 서사원은 선유시를 지었고, 선유시를 통해 그는 탈속적 감성과 도학적 감성을 드러냈다. 탈속적 감성은 그가 은일의 삶을 지향한 것, 선사재가 최치원의 고적과 관련한 곳이라는 점과 연결된다. 도학적 감성은 그가 금호강에서 성리학을 강학한 점, 그리고 금호강의 이칭이 이수(伊水)라는 점과 관련이 있었다. 서사원은 선유시를 통해, 선유에 참여한 문인들과 어울리며 탈속적 감성과 도학적 감성을 공유했다. 이를 통해 금호강은 탈속적 감성과 도학적 감성을 지닌 공간으로 형상화되었고, 서사원과 그의 문인들이 화합하는 장이 되었다. 이러한 서사원의 선유는 후대의 문인들에게 영향을 끼쳐, 금호강은 서사원을 추모하는 공간이 되었다. 후대의 문인들은 금호강에 서사원을 추모하는 이강서원과 이락서당을 건립했고, 금호강에서 문학 작품을 지으며 서사원을 떠올렸다. 그리고 1850년 서사원이 선유를 했던 선사재에서는 소식의 <적벽부>를 떠올린 선사재 모임이 열리기도 했다.

This study examined Nakjae Seosawon’s (1550-1615) Seonyusi (boat poems) and analyzed it from the perspective of his sensitivity to Geumhogang. Seosawon was active around Geumhogang, Daegu. At Geumhogang, he built Icheonjeongsa when he was young. In his later life, he built Wanrakjae at Seonsajae, Geumhogang. He used to study and go boating at Geumhogang with a Daegu scholar. While boating, he took in the scenery of Geumhogang and interacted with the Daegu scholar. During one such boating trip, he composed a seonyusi. His seonyusi shows his sensitivity to Talsok and Dohak. Talsok is related to his retirement from public office and Seonsajae’s story about Choi Chi-won (857~?). Dohak is associated with his study of Neo-Confucianism and Leesu (伊水), another name of Geumhogang. He shared this sensitivity to Talsok and Dohak with the Daegu scholar who accompanied him in boating. Geumhogang became a place for them to experience their sensitivity to Talsok and Dohak, and they were able to be friendly there. Seosawon’s boating at Geumhogang had an effect on his future admirers. Geumhogang became a memorial place for Seosawon. They built Ikangseowon and Irackseodang at Geumhogang and wrote literature about Seosawon. In 1850, there was Seonsajae event in Seonsajae thinking Sosik’s < Jeokbyeokbu >.
