본고는 조선족이 가진 삶의 방식과 그들의 이중적 특수성을 김조규와 하종오의 시 작품을 통해 확인해보고자 하였다. 이는 과거 조선인들이 중국 땅으로 이주·정착해가는 과정과 그들이 다시 한국사회로 귀환하는 과정이 시적으로 어떻게 형상화되었는지 살피기 위함이다. 본고는 특히 조선족 여성에 주목하였다. 이주·이민의 경험을 안고 있는 조선족 여성들은 자본의 흐름을 따라 주로 몸으로 살아가는 방식을 취한다. 이에 따라 그들의 삶의 방식을 살펴보는 것은 빈곤과 억압, 그 틈에서 살아가기 위한 이주 사이에 놓여 있는 여성들만의 특수한 영역, 즉 젠더와 민족에 관한 문제를 살펴보는 것과 같은 맥락에 놓인다. 여성의 이산은 민족과 계급이라는 모순 외에 젠더적 모순이 중첩되어 있어 더욱 복잡한 갈등양상을 보인다. 이를 위해 본고는 조선인들의 중국으로의 본격적인 이주·정착과정을 형상화한 김조규의 시와 오늘날 한국으로 다시 귀환하는 이들을 형상화한 하종오의 시를 함께 엮어 읽었다. 김조규와 하종오는 각 시대에서 조선족 여성들의 소외와 배제, 그들이 가진 고유한 내러티브를 상황에 맞춰 소거하고 새로운 자신을 낯선 곳에서 세워내야 하는 부담감들을 시적으로 형상화하여 드러냈다.

This paper aims to find out the life style of ethnic Koreans living in China and ambivalent characteristic through poem. the first objective is to look inside the poem to see how those koreans moved to China, settled, and then returned to Korea, how their life style has been reflected in poem, and what changed they have gone through. Women tho have experiences of immigration and moving mostly rely on their body in the flow of capital between borders. therefore, looking at women’s life style eventually lies in the same vein of the particular area of women who lives with poverty and suppression : gender and ethnicity. Women’s separation shows more complex conflict since gender problem is added to the contradiction of ethnicity and social stratum. For that, this paper will tie together the poem of Jokyu Kim, which projected the mass immigration and settlement of ethnic Koreans to China, and the poem of JongOh Ha, which portray their return to Korea.
