본 연구는 초심여성청소년동반자가 찾아가는 상담현장에서 겪게 되는 위험경험을 살펴보고 이에 대한 정보를 제공하여 효율적인 대처와 개입방법을 제공하는 데에 그 목적을 두고 있다. 연구방법으로 Giorgi의 현상학적 연구방법을 적용하여 청소년동반자로 활동을 하며 위험경험을 한 초심여성청소년동반자 11명에게 심층면접을 실시하고 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과 133개의 의미단위, 54개의 중심 의미, 18개의 하위주제와 3개의 주제를 생성하였다. 핵심주제를 중심으로 관련성을 확인한 결과, ‘도움을 주려고 찾아간 대상으로부터 언어위협, 폭력행동, 도구로 인한 폭력과, 성적인 위협을 간접적·직접적으로 경험하며 두려움’을 느꼈으며 이는 ‘홀로 고통(苦痛)의 정서를 견디며 지쳐버린 자신을 발견함’에 영향을 주게 되었고 이후 청소년동반자는 ‘지속적으로 남겨진 외상(外傷)의 기억속에서 상담개입의 전체적인 조망을 할 수 있게 됨’으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 초심여성청소년동반자들의 위험경험을 파악하고 그에 대한 의의를 살펴보며 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대한 논의, 그리고 후속 연구를 통한 제언이 제시되었다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the dangerous experiences of beginner women of Youth Companion in visiting counseling practice and to provide effective solution and intervention method by providing information. 11 beginner women who faced dangerous experiences while they work as YC participated in-depth interview for the study. Giorgi's descriptive phenomenological method was utilized and obtained data were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, 133 meaning units, 54 crucial meaning, 18 sub-topics and finally three topics were generated. As a result of checking in relevance around key topics, They felt fear of experiencing verbal threats, violent behavior, weapon assault and sexual threats directly or indirectly from those who they visited to help. This influnced the discovery of exhausted self who endured the emotions of suffering alone and the youth companion counselor was able to see a whole view of counseling intervention in the memory of trauma that was constantly left behind. This study examined dangerous experience of novice women visiting counselor for adolescents and investigated of that implications. Implications and limitations of current study and suggestions for further study were discussed.
