이 글의 목적은 현재 자녀서사, 남녀서사, 부부서사, 부모서사로 구성된 기초서사의 새로운 영역으로 형제서사와 그것의 심화단계인 사회서사를 제안하는 것이다. 제안의 근거는 첫째, 인간관계 발달과정은 단선적이지 않다는 데 있다. 기존의 기초서사는 ‘자녀-남녀-부부-부모’로의 단선적 인간관계 발달과정을 전제로 한 것이다. 그러나 인간관계는 법칙에 집중하는 필연적 층위와 소망에 집중하는 자율적 층위로 나뉘고, 자율적 층위는 다시 나의 소망을 중시하는 1단계와 세상의 소망을 중시하는 2단계로 구분된다. 필연적 층위에는 부모와 자녀의 관계가 놓이고 자율적 층위는 다시 남녀와 부부의 결연 관계와 형제와 사회적 시합 관계로 구분된다. 자녀서사와 부모서사가 상호작용하는 유년기 이후의 인간은 남녀서사와 부부서사의 방향과 형제서사와 사회서사의 방향을 동시에 혹은 선택적으로 경험하는 것이다. 제안의 두 번째 근거는 발달단계마다 중요하게 다뤄지는 관계적 사건과 심리적 자리를 고려해서 기초서사가 설정되어야 한다는 것이다. 자녀서사와 부모서사는 관계적 사건이 독립이고 심리적 자리가 집착과 분리욕망이다. 남녀서사와 그것의 심화단계인 부부서사는 관계적 사건이 결연이고 심리적 자리가 이기심과 대상존중이다. 형제서사와 그것의 심화단계인 사회서사는 관계적 사건이 시합이고 심리적 자리가 경쟁심과 연대이다. 이상의 내용을 정리하면 첫째, 필연적 층위에서는 세상의 법칙과 나의 법칙에 집중하는 자녀서사와 부모서사가 짝으로 작동하며 존재한다. 관계적 사건은 독립이고 심리적 자리는 집착과 분리 욕망이며, 주안점은 순응과 양육이다. 둘째, 자율적 층위에서는 나의 소망과 세상의 소망에 집중하는 서사들이 존재한다. 자율적 층위는 관계적 사건에 따라 결연서사인 남녀서사와 부부서사, 시합서사인 형제서사와 사회서사로 구분된다. 결연서사와 시합서사는 심리적 자리의 성숙과 심화 정도에 따라 주안점이 달라지며, 진입과 회귀가 가능하다.

The purpose of this article is to suggest a Brotherhood Story and Social Story that is its deeper stage in the Fundamental Story that composed of 4 Stories now: Daughter, Man and Woman, Husband and Wife, and Father and Mother Stories. The first basis of the proposal is that the process of development of human relations is not unilinear. The existing Fundamental Story presuppose the unilinear development progress of human relations. But human relationships are divided over inevitable layer and autonomous layer that is divided into basic and deeper stage. There is a relationship between parents and children in the inevitable story layer. there are two branches of relationship in the autonomous story layer: one begins with a relationship between man and woman and leads to a marital relationship, the other begins with a brotherhood and leads to social relations. In the preadolescent years, human beings alternatively or simultaneously experience the direction of man and woman story and brother story. The second basis of the proposal is that Fundamental Story should be designed in consideration of the relational event and the psychological place. Daughter and Parents Stories’s event is Independence, psychological place is desire for attachment and separation. Man & Woman Story and Husband & Wife Story’s event is a Affiliation, psychological place is selfishness and respect. Brother Story and Social Story’s are Contest and desire for competition and solidarity. The five Fundamental Stories’s core challenges are compliance and parenting, choice and sustainability, success and win-win. Affinity and Contest Stories change there core challenges according to the maturity and depth of their psychological places, and mutual entry and retreat are possible.
