로봇저널리즘은 도입 단계이며 인공지능로봇 뉴스 알고리즘이 계속 발전하고 있음을 고려할 때, 앞으로 로봇저널리즘의 변화뿐만 아니라 뉴스 미디어 산업 전반에 미칠 영향을 예측하기 어렵다. 로봇저널리즘이 뉴스 기사와 법 제도적 분야에 미칠 영향으로 나누어 연구결과를 정리하면, 첫째 로봇저널리즘은 속보성을 담보로 하는 뉴스 분야에서 우선적으로 적용되고 속보성을 중요시 하는 뉴스 분야에서 더욱 활성화될 것이다. 로봇저널리즘이 도입단계이므로 로봇기자가 인간기자의 영역인 ‘맥락’ 분석에서 한계를 갖고 있는 것은 사실이나, 뉴스 알고리즘의 발달에 따라 로봇기자는 인간기자의 영역으로 확대해 나갈것이다. 둘째, 로봇저널리즘에서 가장 민감한 법 제도적 이슈는 뉴스 저작권과 고용문제이다. 인공지능로봇의 특수한 기능을 인정하고 이를 바탕으로 한 저작권의 법적인 규정이 시급히 제정될 필요가 있다. 그리고 인간기자와 로봇기자의 역할분담과 상생을 통해서 뉴스 기사의 질을 높이는 방향으로 대책을 마련해야 할 것이다.

Robot journalism is an introduction stage, and artificial intelligence robot news algorithm is still developing. So, it will be difficult to predict not only the changes in robot journalism but also the effects on the news media industry in the future. The results of this study are as follows. First, Robot journalism will be more active in the news field, which is applied firstly in the breaking news field and emphasizes breaking news. Robot journalism is the introduction stage, and it is true that the robot reporter has limitations in the ‘context’ analysis of the human reporter. However, robot reporter with the development of news algorithms will continue to expand in the area of human reporters. Second, the most sensitive institutional issue in robot journalism is news copyright and employment problem. It is necessary to recognize the special function of the artificial intelligence robot and to make a news copyright based on it. And, the role of human reporters and robot reporters should be shared in order to enhance the quality of news articles.
