본고는 구비전승되는 별자리 신화인 <삼태성>과 <북두칠성 유래담>을 대상으로 논의를 시작하여, 서사적 연계성을 보이는 <제석본풀이>와 <칠성본풀이>를 포괄하여 별자리 신으로서의 기능적인 측면을 고찰했다. 나아가 <삼태성>-<제석본풀이>-<주몽신화>의 계열과, <북두칠성 유래담>-<칠성본풀이>-<사신칠성본풀이>-<금와신화>와의 계열을 설정해 보았다. 前者의 계열은 <삼태성>과 <제석본풀이>, <삼태성>과 <주몽신화>와 상관성을 검토하여 그 의미를 고찰했다. 또한 <제석본풀이>가 <주몽신화>와 연계되기에 <삼태성> 신화의 두 가지 양상이 개별적이지 않고 무속신화와 건국신화에 연결되어 있음을 확인했다. 후자의 계열은 <북두칠성 유래담>과 <칠성본풀이>, <사신칠성본풀이>와 <금와신화>의 관련성을 검토하고 칠성신앙의 양상을 고찰했다. 그 결과 칠성관련 신화가 무속신화와 건국신화에 연결되어 있는 양상과 표지를 확인할 수 있었다. 제한된 자료를 대상으로 한 논의이지만, 한국의 별자리 신화들이 크게는 한국의 신화적 그물망으로 얽혀 있을 가능성이 높다고 판단된다.

Approaching studies from oral narrative constellation myths < Samtaeseong (三台星) > and < Bukduseong(北斗七星) >, including also < Jeseok-bonpuri (帝釋본풀이) >and < Chilseong-bonpuri(七星본풀이) > which are showing narrative connections with them, this article studies functional aspects of constellation spirits. In addition, I tried to classify correlational categories of < Samtaeseong(三台星) >-< Jeseok-bonpuri(帝釋본풀이) >-< Jumong myth(朱蒙神話) >, and < Bukduseong(北斗七星) >-< Chilseong-bonpuri(七星본풀이) > -< Sasinchilseong-bonpuri(蛇神七星본풀이) >-< Keumwa myth(金蛙神話) >. From the former category, correlations between < Samtaeseong(삼태성) >and < Jeseok-bonpuri(帝釋본풀이) >, < Samtaeseong(삼태성) >and < Jumong myth(朱蒙神話) > were studied. By analyses that < Jeseok-bonpuri(帝釋본풀이) > has correlation with < Jumong myth(朱蒙神話) >, I could confirm that < Samtaeseong(삼태성) > myth's two aspects are not separated but correlated with shamanism myth and national foundation myths. From the later category, correlations between < Bukduseong(북두칠성) >and < Chilseong-bonpuri(七星본풀이) >, < Sasinchilseong-bonpuri(蛇神七星본풀이) >and < Keumwa myth(金蛙神話) > were studied together with aspects of faith to the Big Dipper. As results of these studies, aspects and signs could be confirmed that myths having relations with Big Dipper are related to shamanism myth and national foundation myths. Though this article is studied on the limited basis of materials, I could see possibilities that Korean constellation myths are related to Korean mythic net.
