본 연구는 한 · 중 양국 간 서비스 무역의 현황과 특징에 대한 분석과 더불어 양국이 서비스 무역에서 각각 어떤 부문에서 경쟁우위가 있으며 또 어떤 부문에서 상호보완성을 갖고 있는지를 분석하였다. TC 지수 및 RCA 지수를 통해 분석한 결과 중국은 상품 관련 서비스와 건설 서비스업에서, 한국은 건설 서비스와 운송 서비스에서 비교우위를 갖고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 양국은 상품 관련 서비스, 문화와 레크리에이션 서비스, 기타 비즈니스 서비스 등 3개 부문에서 상호 보완성이 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

The paper studies the current status and characteristics of service trade between Korea and China. It also analyzes the competitive advantage and the complementarity of the two countries in service sectors. Using the TC index and RCA index, the results show that China has comparative advantages in goods related services and construction services and that Korea has comparative advantages in construction services and transportation services. In addition, the two countries were analyzed to have complementarity in three areas: Product related services, cultural and recreational services, and other business services.
