이 연구는 10개 대학교의 특수교육과에 재학 중인 2학년부터 4학년 학생을 대상으로 설문하여 설문에 응답한 404건 중 신뢰롭게 응답한 377건을 최종 분석하였다. 자기효능감, 학업스트레스, 전공인식 그리고 교직수행능력에 대한 인구통계학적 변인 분석을 위해 각 요인별 독립표본 t검증 또는 일원분산분석을 실시하였다. 또한 상관관계 분석과 구조분석을 실시하였으며, 각각의 결론은 다음의 두 가지로 요약된다. 첫째, 예비특수교사의 자기효능감, 학업스트레스, 전공인식 그리고 교직수행능력은 배경 변인별에 따라서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 예비특수교사의 자기효능감, 학업스트레스, 전공인식 그리고 교직수행능력은 각 요인별로 유의미한 상관관계가 있다. 예비특수교사의 자기효능감은 전공인식과 높은 관련성을 가지나, 학업스트레스 및 교직수행능력과는 조건부 관련성을 보인다. 즉 예비특수교사의 교직수행능력을 위한 주요 요인은 교과 및 학업에 대한 만족, 전공에 대한 긍정적인 인식 그리고 높은 자기효능감이 미래의 교직생활에 긍정적인 영향을 제공한다. 그리고 예비특수교사의 봉사활동과 교직수행능력 등의 경험 및 학습은 장애학생의 교수ㆍ학습을 제공하기 위한 교직수행능력의 직ㆍ간접적인 영향으로 나타나게 된다. 그러므로 예비특수교사는 바람직한 교직관 형성을 위한 다양한 노력이 요구된다는 점을 이 연구에서 제안하고 있다.

Students in year 2 to 4 of special education major at 10 colleges were surveyed, and 377 reliable responses among 404 responses were used for final analysis. In order to analyze the components for self-efficacy, academic stress, specialization awareness, and teaching competency, factor analysis and reliability analysis were conducted. Data of 377 students nationwide were verified by t or F, and structure analysis were applied. The results of this study are as follows (a) self-efficacy, academic stress, specialization awareness, and teaching competency in preservice special teachers is according to background variables there was a statistically significant difference; (b) there are significant correlations per each component for self-efficacy, academic stress, specialization awareness, and teaching competency in preservice special teachers. Therefore, this study suggests that preservice special teachers require various efforts to form desirable view on teaching.
