본 연구에서는 자폐성장애 학생의 성공적 전환지원을 위한 특수교사의 인식을 중요도와 수행도 측면에서 조사하고, 요구도 및 우선순위를 산출하였다. 이를 통해 자폐성장애 학생의 전환지원의 실태 및 우선적인 고려 사항을 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 서울, 대구, 경남, 대전, 부산 등 특수학교 및 특수학급에 재직 중인 특수교사 195명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 시행하였다. 연구결과 특수교사들은 자폐성장애 학생의 전환지원에 대한 중요도는 높게 인식하고 있었으나, 수행도는 그에 비해 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 중요도와 수행도가 가장 높은 문항은 대인관계 및 감정수준 확인 및 지원이었으며, 보리치 공식에 의해 산출된 요구도가 가장 높은 문항은 근무하게 될 직장 고용주 및 동료가 받아야하는 교육 관련 지원이었다. 보리치 공식에 의한 요구도에서의 우선순위와 LF모델을 활용하여 산출된 우선순위의 중복성을 비교하여 최우선순위 항목을 도출하였다. 그 결과, 자폐성장애 학생의 전환 지원과 관련하여 최우선순위는 직장 및 사업체에서 필요한 사회적 기술지원, 자립생활 및 주거지원 관련 정보제공 및 지원, 자립생활 준비를 위한 지역사회 활용방안 제시인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 자폐성장애 학생의 전환지원에 관한 기초자료 및 방향성을 제공하였다는 점에 의의가 있다.

This study aimed to analyze special education teachers’ needs of successful transition services for students with ASD by examining their importance and performance levels and the priority of their needs. The questionnaire survey was conducted for 195 special education teachers in Seoul, Daegu, Kyoungnam, Daejeon, and Busan. The collected data were analyzed via Borich needs analysis and the Locus for Focus model. The overall results demonstrated the significant differences between the importance and performance of transition services for students with ASD. ‘The identification and support of interpersonal skills and emotional levels’ showed the high level in both importance and performance, and ‘training assistance for the employer and colleague’ showed the highest importance level. As a result of Borich Needs Analysis and Locus for Focus Model, the highest ranked components for successful transition services were ‘social skills support at work,’ ‘information and support related to independent living and housing support,’ and ‘plans for independent living in local community.’ In the discussion, we addressed the systematic policy improvement (e.g., ITP, closed partnership between schools and local companies) and suggested the future research.
