본 연구에서는 중등 예비교사를 대상으로 하여 통합교육에 대한 교수 효능감과 보편적 학습설계에 대한 인식을 살펴보았다. 보편적 학습설계에 대한 인식과 통합교육 교수 효능감의 상관성과 영향력을 분석하였다. 교원양성기관에서 ‘특수교육학개론’ 교직소양과목을 수강한 128명의 중등 예비교사를 대상으로 하였다. 설문조사를 실시하여 통합교육 교수 효능감과 보편적 학습설계 인식 변인들을 측정하였다. 연구 결과, 중등 예비교사의 통합교육 교수 효능감은 긍정적으로 나타났고, 보편적 학습설계에 대한 인식은 높은 것으로 나타났다. 중등 예비교사의 장애학생 교육지도 경험에 따라 보편적 학습설계에 대한 인식에 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 통합교육 교수 효능감과 보편적 학습설계 인식 간에는 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 중등예비교사들의 보편적 학습설계에 대한 인식이 높아질수록 통합교육에 대한 교수 효능감이 높지는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과에 대한 시사점 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the perception of teaching efficacy of inclusive education and universal design for learning(UDL) of secondary pre-service teachers. The correlation and relationship among the variables were analyzed. A total of 128 pre-service teachers who took the ‘Introduction to Special Education’ course at the teacher education institutions participated in this study. The survey was conducted and the questionnaire were used to measure the teaching efficacy of inclusive education and perceptions toward UDL. As a result, secondary pre-service teachers showed a positive teaching efficacy of inclusive education, and the perception toward UDL. There was a significant difference in the perception of UDL according to the experience of teaching students with disabilities. There was a statistically significant correlation between the teaching efficacy of inclusive education and perception toward UDL. Participants showed that the higher the perceptions toward UDL, the higher the teaching efficacy of inclusive education. Based on the results, implications and suggestions were provided.
