이 연구의 목적은 공감적 의사소통 역량을 신장하기 위한 교육 내용 체계를 마련하는 것이다. 이론적 배경으로 다차원적 공감 모형, 공감 순환 모형, 정확공감, 비폭력 대화 모형을 고찰하였다. 공감적 의사소통 역량을 신장하기 위해서 대화 구도를 일방향에서 쌍방향으로 재설정하였다. 쌍방향적소통 관점에서 공감적 의사소통 교육 방안을 상대와 자신의 차원으로 구분하여 제시하였다. 첫째는 상대의 감정에 대한 인식과 표현에 대한 교육 내용과 방법을, 둘째는 자신의 감정에 대한 인식과 표현에 대한 교육 내용과 방법을 제시하였다. 이를 종합하여 역량 기반의 공감적 의사소통 교육 내용체계를 구성하였다. 이와 더불어 공감적 의사소통 교육 방법의 효과를 검증하는 실증 연구와 공감적 의사소통 역량 평가 척도 개발과 같은 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 하였다.

The purpose of this study is to develop the curriculum Framework for empathic communication competence. Theoretical backgrounds are multidimensional empathy model, empathy cycle model, accurate empathy, and nonviolent communication. To enhance empathic communication competence, the dialogue frame was reconfigured from one way to two way interactive direction. From the viewpoint of two way interactive communication, the empathic communication education plan is divided into the opponent and the self. The educational contents and methods of the recognition and expression of the opponent’s emotions and the educational contents and methods of the recognition and expression of the emotions of the self were presented. Finally, the curriculum framework for empathic communication based on competence was presented. In addition, the empirical study on the effectiveness of the methods of empathic communication and the research for the evaluation scale of empathic communication competence were suggested.
