이 연구의 목적은 독자 의견의 방향성을 중심으로 독자 요소를 상세화하여 쓰기 과제에 제시하고 이에 대한 학생들의 독자 고려 양상과 인식을 살펴 쓰기 과제에서 독자를 상세화하는 것의 교육적 의미를 살피는 데 있다. 이를 위해 독자를 대상으로 지정한 과제와 의견의 방향성을 중심으로 상세화하여 무관심한 독자, 같은 의견의 독자, 반대 의견의 독자로 명시한 과제를 제시하고 초등학교 5학년 91명, 6학년 98명, 총 189명을 대상으로 주관식 질문지 조사를 실시하였다. 그리고 질문지 조사 결과를 입체적으로 해석하기 위해 16명과 심층면담을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 독자를 대상으로 제시하는 것보다 독자가 가진 의견의 방향성에 따라 상세화하여 독자를 제시하는 것이 학생들이 독자를 고려하여 글을 쓸수 있도록 지원할 가능성이 높음을 확인하였다. 아울러 심층면담에서 쓰기과제를 통해 다양한 독자를 고려할 수 있는 경험을 제공해 줄 필요가 있다는 점도 알 수 있었다. 또한 학생의 독자 고려에 대한 메타적인 인식을 통해 독자 고려를 위한 교육적 논의가 필요함을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study is to specificate the elements of the audience focusing on the direction of the audience opinion, present them to writing assignments, examine the students' consideration and perception about them, and examine the educational significance of specificating the audience in writing assignments. To this end, this study propose assignments that are described audience as subjects and indifferent audience, audience of the same opinion, and audience of objection, focusing on direction of audience opinion. A total of 189 elementary school students, including 91 fifth graders, 98 sixth graders, were surveyed. In order to interpret the results of the questionnaire survey in depth, 16 interviewees were interviewed. As a result, presenting the audience in detail according to the direction of the audience opinion helped students write with the audience consideration. Through in-depth interviews, we confirmed that it is necessary to provide diverse audience consideration experiences in writing assignment. A metacognition of students’ audience consideration also confirmed the need for educational discussions for audience consideration.
