본 연구의 목적은 탐색적 측면에서 대학생들을 대상으로 하는 통합적이고 객관적인 인성지수 측정도구를 개발하고 그 타당도를 알아보고자 하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 개인적 성향, 관계적 성향, 사회적 성향의 세 가지 차원의 11개 하위요인으로 구성되는 위계적 3차원 요인구조 모형을 연구모형으로 제안하고 이를 검정하였다. 본 연구에서 연구모형의 잠재적 요인구조를 파악하기 위하여 탐색 요인분석과 신뢰도 검정을 실시하였으며, 연구모형을 검정하기 위하여 확인 요인분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. 첫째, 본 연구에서 인성은 11개의 잠재적인 요인으로 구성된다는 것을 발견할 수 있었다. 둘째, 탐색 요인분석과 신뢰도 검정에서 11개의 잠재요인과 3개의 성향에 대한 신뢰도와 타당도에 문제가 없다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 본 연구의 연구모형을 검정하기 위한 확인 요인분석 결과 수용 가능한 적합도를 갖는다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

This study is a exploratory research to develop of character index instrument for college students through extracting common factors for them. It suggests that character of personal can be divided into three primary dimensions; individual temperament, relationship temperament, social temperament and each dimensions be several sub-dimensions. It also suggests a hierarchical third-order factor structure for character based on the above dimensions and testifies it through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. The results were as follows: First, We found that character is composed of eleven latent factors. Second, We found that 11 latent factors and three temperaments for character in the exploratory factor analysis and reliability test were no problems with the validity and reliability. Third, We found that research model for character has an acceptable goodness of fit.
