본 연구는 『논어』에서 탈현대적인 삶을 위한 지혜를 찾는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해서，먼저 탈현대적인 삶의 내용을 살펴보고，다음으로 탈현대적인 삶의 방법을 분석하며，마지막으로 탈현대적인 삶의 의미를 탐색해 보고자 한다. 여기서 탈현대적인 삶의 지혜를 『논어』에서 찾고자 하는 이유는『논어』에 현대사회의 문제를 넘어서 탈현대사회의 삶에 대한 비전을 모색 할 수 있는 풍부한 지혜가 내포해 있기 때문이다. 물론 『논어』의 전근대성을 완전히 부인하는 것은 아니다. 이 논문이 주목하는 바는 『논어』에 내재된 현대를 넘어설 수 있는 탈현대적인 삶의 지혜이다. 『논어』는 유가적인 삶의 해답이 녹아있는 책이다. 특히 현대적인 삶의 문제를 넘어설 수 있는 탈현대적인 지혜가 풍부 한 보고(寶庫)이다. 『논어』에 내재된 삶에 대한 목표와 방법을 재조명하여，탈현대적인 삶의 해답을 살펴볼 것이다.

The purpose of this research is to find the after-modern wisdom of life in Analects of Confucius. To achieve the research purpose, we will examine the after-modern life, analyse the way of the after-modern life, and explore the meanings of the after-modern life in Analects of Confucius. Why we want to find wisdom of the after-modern life in the very old book Analects of Confucius? The reason why is that this old book includes much contents to explore wisdoms of the after-modern life. It does not mean that it includes much pre-modern limitations. The focus of this paper is to find out wisdoms of the after-modern life in Analects of Confucius. Analects of Confucius is the book which shows the ideal way of Confucian life. Especially, this old book has much after-modern wisdoms which solve the problems of modern life. We will explore the answer for the after-modern life in Analects of Confucius.
