이 연구는 기쁨화행의 하위화행을 분류하고 그 각각의 정의와 특성을 밝히는 것을 목표로 한다. ‘기쁨화행’이란, 정표화행의 일종으로서, 기쁨의 정서를 청자에게 드러내는 화행이다. 기쁨화행은 기쁨화행(협의), 감탄화행, 칭찬화행, 애정화행, 축하화행, 감사화행, 축복화행, 환영화행으로 구성되어 있다. 기쁨화행(협의)이란, 무표적인 기쁨의 정서를 드러내는 화행이다. 감탄화행이란, 훌륭하다고 느끼는 기쁨의 정서를 드러내는 화행이다. 칭찬화행이란, 어떤 이의 좋은 점이나 좋은 일을 훌륭하다고 느끼는 기쁨의 정서를 드러내는 화행이다. 애정화행이란, 누군가를 좋아하는 기쁨의 정서를 드러내는 화행이다. 축하화행이란, 타인의 좋은 일을 기뻐하고 즐거워하는 기쁨의 정서를 드러내는 화행이다. 감사화행이란, 청자가 한 일에 대하여 고마워하는 기쁨의 정서를 드러내는 화행이다. 축복화행이란, 타인의 행복을 비는 기쁨의 정서를 드러내는 화행이다. 환영화행이란, 오는 사람을 반갑게 맞는 기쁨의 정서를 드러내는 화행이다.

The purpose of this study is to classify the subcategorization of the pleasure speech-acts and to clarify their definitions and characteristics. The pleasure speech-acts are kinds of the expressive speech-acts, which are by the acts that the speaker reveals the emotions of joy to the listener. The pleasure speech-acts consists of the pleasure speech-acts(narrow sense), the admiration speech-acts, the compliment speech-acts, the affection speech-acts. the celebration speech-acts, the gratitude speech-acts, the blessing speech-acts, and the welcome speech-acts. The pleasure speech-acts(narrow sense) are the acts by which the speaker reveals the emotions of joy that is the most unmarked joy. The admiration speech-acts are the acts by which the speaker reveals to the listener the emotion of joy that he impresses and feels wonderful. The compliment speech-acts are the acts by which the speaker reveals to the listener the emotions of joy that he appreciates what is good. Affectionate speech is the acts by which the speaker reveals to the listener the emotion of joy that he likes someone. The celebration speech-acts are the acts by which the speaker reveals to the listener the emotions of joy that he is delighted and happy with the good work of others. The gratitude speech-acts are the acts by which the speaker expresses to the listener the emotions of joy that he has the gratitude for what an opponent has done. The blessing speech-acts are the acts by which the speaker expresses to the listener the emotions of joy that he wants the happiness of others. The welcome speech-acts are the acts by which the speaker expresses to the listener the emotions of joy that he is pleased to come to him.
