Speaking fluency is the ability to produce fluent and coherent speech that accepted by the listener. This paper used quantitative research method to evaluate the speaking fluency of Korean learners od the Chinese language, according to time index, expressiveness index. The experiment also incorporated native speakers’ listening, to present a subjective evaluation of the speaking fluency of Korean learners of the Chinese language.
The research found significant difference between the speaking fluency of Koreans who have learnt Chinese for different time spans, according to time index and native speakers’ listening. However, other indexes did not present significant differences.
