본 논문은 현대사회를 ‘스펙타클-자본주의’라는 개념으로 포착하고, 이를 통해 현대의 변화된 정치지형에서 ‘이데올로기’가 작동하는 메커니즘을 분석하는 동시에 이에 대한 나름의 ‘철학적 대안’을 모색하고 있다. 새롭게 변화된 현대사회에서는 과거와 달리 ‘이데올로기’가 작동하는 방식도 변화될 수밖에 없다. 오늘날 전 지구를 지배하게 된 자본주의는 이제 단순히 생산과 소비라는 경제적인 영역만을 지배하는 것이 아니라 아감벤의 말대로 인간의 언어적 소통방식까지 장악하면서 보다 치밀한 지배 전략을 구사한다. 이처럼 ‘스펙타클-자본주의’는 자본의 힘을 통해 축적된 이미지를 통해 인간의 언어적 소통방식마저 장악한 사회를 의미한다. 우선 이 논문은 기 드보르의 ‘스펙타클 비판’과 아감벤의 해석을 경유해, ‘스펙타클-자본주의’의 메커니즘을 분석하며 스펙타클 시대의 치밀한 이데올로기 매커니즘을 추적한다. ‘스펙타클-이데올로기’는 오늘날 강력하고 화려한 매혹의 힘을 통해 기존질서를 그대로 수용하는 주체들을 양산하면서 보다 치밀하지만 전혀 거부감 없는 방식으로 작동한다. 그렇기에 이에 맞서는 전략도 쉽지 않다. 그럼에도 또 다른 매혹의 힘에 이끌려 기존질서와 정체성마저 허물고 새로운 주체로 탈바꿈하는 주체성의 차원에서 나름의 대안을 찾아야 한다. 아울러 ‘스펙타클-자본주의’가 만들어 내는 매혹적인 환상에 맞서며 기존질서와 정체성에서 벗어난 새로운 사건적인 주체가 또 다시 ‘스펙타클-이데올로기’라는 매혹에 휩쓸리게 되는 연결고리를 끊어내는 실천적인 과제를 어떻게 마련해야 하는지도 중요한 과제가 될 것이다.

This paper analyzes the mechanism of ‘Ideology’ in contemporary political landscape by analyzing modern society as ‘Spectacle-Capitalism’ and finds its own philosophical alternative. Unlike in the past, the way in which ‘Ideology’ works changes in the newly transformed modern society. Capitalism, which has dominated the whole of the world today, does not just dominate the economic realm of production and consumption, but rather a more precise governance strategy, taking over the human linguistic mode of communication as Agamben says. Thus ‘Spectacle-Capitalism’ means a society that has taken control of human linguistic communication through images accumulated through the power of capital. First, this paper analyzes the mechanism of ‘ Spectacle-Capitalism’ through Guy Debord’s ‘Spectacle criticism’ and Agamben’s its interpretation, and tracks the precise ideological mechanism of the Spectacle era. The ‘Spectacle-Ideology’ operates in a more dense but totally irresponsible way, producing the subjects that accept the existing order through the power of today's powerful and brilliant fascination. Therefore, the strategy against it is not easy. Nevertheless, we have to find alternative ways in terms of subjectivity, which is drawn to the power of other fascination and transforms existing order and identity into a new subject. In addition, how to set up a practical task to break the link that the new eventual subject, which is out of existing order and identity, faces the fascinating fantasy created by ‘Spectacle-Capitalism’ and is once again attracted to the fascination of ‘Spectacle-Ideology’, it will be an important challenge.
