이 연구는 성인들을 대상으로 사생관 결정에 영향을 미치는 요인을 삶의 질을 중심으로 파악함으로써 향후 한국적 사생관을 정립하는데 기초적인 자료를 제공하는 것을 목적하였다. 이를 위하여 성인 602명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 사생관은 기존의 사생관 차원에서 새롭게 추가하여 ‘순환형’, ‘단절형’, ‘과업형’의 세 가지 차원으로 구성하였고, 이에 영향을 주는 요인으로 삶의 질을 ‘사회경제적조건’, ‘사회적관계’, ‘건강상태’, ‘주관적 삶의 만족도’의 4 요소를 설정하였다. 그 결과 사회경제적 조건의 변수는 과업형에 영향을 미치고 있음이 확인되었고, 사회적 관계의 변수는 단절형과 순환형에 영향을 미치는데 차이를 보였다. 단절형은 직업만족도나 사회적지지, 행복의 변수에 영향을 받는 반면, 순환형은 연령, 사회적관계, 삶의 만족도에 영향을 받는다는 점에서 차이를 보였다.

The objective of this study is to measure Korean’s view of life and death and to illuminate the structure relationship between quality of life factors. In the study, 602 individuals were surveyed by Hankook research (HRC), and the collected data was analyzed to examine the social foundation influencing death problems in Korea. I classified ‘the type for the view of life and death’ into three types, ‘Circulation type’, ‘Discontinuation type’, and ‘Implementation type’ in the analysis, social economic variables, social relationship variables, health condition variables and life satisfaction variables were selected for life and death factors. Results indicated that in social economic variables, an implementation type was found as determinants affecting view of life and death. In social relationship and life satisfaction variables, differences in the effect of a circulation type and a discontinuation type were shown. In job satisfaction, social support and happiness variables, an discontinuation type were found as determinants affecting view of life and death. In age, social relationship and life satisfaction variables showed differences in the effect of a circulation type.
