장애인 평생교육 프로그램의 참여현황과 욕구 -장애인복지관을 중심으로-

본 연구에서는 장애인 복지관에서 운영되고 있는 평생교육 프로그램을 이용하는 성인장애인들의 평생교육 프로그램 참여현황과 욕구를 알아보기 위하여 전국 대도시, 중소도시, 농어촌에 소재한 장애인복지관의 평생교육 프로그램에 참여하고 있는 성인장애인 총 130명을 대상으로 설문하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성인장애인 평생교육 참여현황은 대도시가 중소도시와 농어촌보다 높았고, 문화예술교육 영역의 여가스포츠 프로그램에 가장 많이 참여함을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 성인장애인 평생교육 참여욕구는 대도시가 중소도시와 농어촌보다 높았고, 대도시, 중소도시, 농어촌 모두 가장 많은 대상자들이 취미여가를 목적으로 참여하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 평생교육 참여 시 느끼는 개선사항으로 모든 지역에서 프로그램의 다양화를 가장 우선적으로 꼽았다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the participation status and needs of the disabled people who use the lifelong education program of the disabled welfare centers and to make them as the basic data of the satisfying lifelong education program. For this purpose, One-on-one interview survey was conducted on a total of 130 adults with disabilities who participated in lifelong education programs operated by welfare centers for the disabled in large cities, small cities and rural areas. The results of this study were as follows: Firstly, the participation in large cities of lifelong education for adults with disabilities is higher than that of small cities and rural areas, the satisfaction was higher in the rural areas than in the large cities and small cities, and it was found that they participated most in the leisure sports program in the field of culture arts education. Secondly, the needs of participation of lifelong education for adults with disabilities was higher in large cities than in small cities and rural areas, and all three regions participated for the purpose of hobby leisure. The lecture period ranged from 6 months to less than 1 year for large and small cities, and more than 1 year for rural areas. The most significant improvement in participation in lifelong education was the needs for diversity of programs in all regions.
