徳富蘆花の『不如帰』の韓国語訳『불여귀』と『두견성』の人称代名詞と呼称表現の翻訳の様相を分析した。日本語の1人称代名詞と2人称代名詞の使用は現代日本語における用法と大体似ている。3人称の表現は「あの、あれ」を伴う表現が主であり、「彼、彼女」は漢字で表記されているが、今日の「かのじょ、かれ」ではない。呼称表現は身分、年齢、男女、場面により待遇表現が使われている。これに対し、韓国訳を人称代名詞の表現は1人称の繊細な使い分けができなく「나, 저 」, 2人称は「너, 자네」3人称は「이,그,저」が混在してあらわれている。日本語も韓国語も3人称は明確に定着していないということであろう。また、日本語の呼称表現は多様なレベルにおいて明確に使い分けされている。それに対し、韓国訳は原文のままに固有名詞をそのまま音訳している場合と、韓国語の固有名詞で置き換えたりしているが、当時の言語習慣では自然ではない部分もある。韓国語翻訳は大概原著の雰囲気にしたがっているものの、正確性と繊細さには欠けているように思われる。

I analyzed the aspect of translation of the personal pronouns and nominal expressions of the Korean translations "불여귀" and "두 견성" of Tokuomi Roka's "Hototogisu". The use of Japanese first-person pronouns and second-person pronouns is almost like the usage in modern Japanese. The expression of the third person is the expression accompanied by "that, those", and "he, she" is written in kanji, but it is not today's "kanojo, kare". Treatment expressions are used according to status, age, gender, scenes. On the contrary, Korean translation can not express the personal pronoun in a delicate manner by the first person "나, 저" the second person is "너, 자네" the third people are mixed in "이, 그, 저" appears. It seems that the third people are not clearly established either in Japanese or Korean. In addition, the nominal expression of Japanese is properly used at various levels. To the contrary, the Korean translation is replaced with the proper noun in Korean as it is in the original sentence and the case where the proper noun is translated as it is. But there are parts that are not natural in the language custom of those days. Although the Korean translation generally follows the atmosphere of the original work, it seems to be lacking in accuracy and delicacy.
