이 글은 한·중 동형한자어 대조 연구를 진행하는 가운데 발견한 ≪표준국어대사전≫과 ≪中韓辭典≫이 지니고 있는 학습 자료로서의 문제점을 짚어보고, 그를 통해 앞으로 진행될 한·중 동형한자어 대조 연구 방법과 사전 및 학습 자료 구축에 필요한 시사점을 얻는 것이 목적이다. 한국 한자어와 중국어의 대조 연구는 2010년 이후 중국어권 학습자에 의해 급증하고 있는데 연구 방법과 연구 결과 제시에 있어서 대동소이한 문제를 보이고 있다. 대조 자료 선정에 있어 한국어 사전과 중국어 사전으로 국한되어 자료의 범위가 협소하고, 연구의 결과를 제시함에 있어서는 나열하는 방식을 채택함으로써 그 경계를 선명하게 보여주지 않고 있다. 연구 방법의 문제를 해결하고자 ≪中中사전≫, ≪韓韓사전≫, ≪中韓사전≫에 ≪中英사전≫과 ≪中日사전≫을 더해 대조 연구를 진행하였고, 연구 진행 과정에서 ≪표준국어대사전≫과 ≪中韓辭典≫이 지니고 있는 학습 자료로서의 문제점들을 발견하였다. ≪표준국어대사전≫은 제시된 의미의 공시성과 의미를 제시하는 방법에 있어 5가지의 문제를 보이고 있고, ≪中韓辭典≫은 학습 자료로서 부적절한 6가지의 문제 지점이 발견되었다. 이렇게 드러난 문제점을 바탕으로 한·중 동형한자어를 대상으로 하는 학습 자료나 사전 연구에 있어 중요한 시사점 여섯 가지를 얻었다. 근 60년 동안 양적·질적 성장을 거듭한 한국어 교육은 이제 한국어를 한국어 방식으로 내놓는 것에서 학습자의 특성을 활용하는 단계로 진입하고 있다. 도약의 과정에서 어휘 학습의 도구는 보다 정밀해져야 할 것이다.

This study aims to introduce problems in ≪표준국어대사전≫ and ≪中韓 辭典≫ identified while comparing same-shape Chinese characters contained therein, to learn from those problems how to compare same-shape Chinese characters used in Korea and China and to create learning materials. The number of researchers from Chinese-speaking countries who compare Chinese characters used in Korean and Chinese has rapidly grown since 2010, and their study methods and results show substantially the same problems-they have limited sources of data to be compared in Korean and Chinese dictionaries (which is too narrow); and failed to clearly how a boundary by simply listing their findings. In this study, same-shape Chinese characters were compared by mainly referring to a Chinese-English dictionary and a Chinese-Japanese dictionary, in addition to a Chinese-Chinese dictionary, a Korean-Korean Dictionary and a Chinese-Korean dictionary to solve problems related to the method of study. In the course of study, problems with ≪표준국어대사전≫ and ≪中韓辭典)≫ were identified. There were 5 problems in ≪표준국어대사전≫ related to synchronism of suggested meaning and the method used to suggest meanings. ≪中韓辭典≫ had 6 parts which were inappropriate as learning materials. From these problems, 6 were identified as important to the study of learning material or dictionaries related to same-shape Chinese characters used in Korea and China. Korean language education has achieved a considerable amount of quantitative and qualitative growth in the last 60 years and is now entering a stage where the characteristics of students are considered, rather than presenting Korean language simply in a Korean language style. In the course of this leap forward, vocabulary study tools should be more precise.
