본 연구는 이주노동자와 결혼한 한국인 여성들의 경험연구로 결혼생활의 의미와 본질을 드러내고자 했다. 연구에는 이주노동자와 결혼한 8명의 여성이 참여했다. 자료는 심층면담을 수행하여 구성했고 Giorgi(2004)의 기술적 현상학 자료분석 절차에 의거하여 수행했다. 연구결과 심리적 신분상승, 사회적 발전의 후견인, 지구화 시대의 로망, 자기의 땅에서 버려진 유민, 하늘의 별 따기 국적, 자기 증명하기의 본질적 주제가 도출되었다. 연구결과를 근거로 이중적 다문화정책, 연구참여자들의 페미니즘 비전과 선택, 인습적 부계혈통주의 담론에 대한 논의를 했다.

This study is to expose the meaning and essence of marriage about the women who married migrant workers. The eight women who married migrant worker participated this study. Data were collected by in-depth interviews. The author analyzed data according to Giorgi’s method. The result as follows: The essential theme were psychological social mobility, agency of dream achievement, nostalgic in the era of globalization, refugee who expelled their own land, difficult task of nationality, demonstration of their own. The author discussed about ambivalent multicutural policy, feminism vision and choice of participants, conventional paternity lineageism.
