Different countries have different cultures from the influences of its religions, custom, norms and tradition. Italy has its unique cultures that influence people’s daily life as well as its business practices, especially in international business. It is essential for foreigners or multinational companies in Italy to understand those cultures and use them appropriately to work better with Italian partners. This paper mainly focuses on five elements of the Italian culture, which are language, religion, social institution, education and value system. All of these critical aspects of the Italian culture have strong influence on the way how to do business in Italy.
