목적：건강장애 학생 대상의 국어과 온라인 화상 수업에서 나타나는 학습자의 표현 특성을 밝히고 그 개선점을 제안하는 데에 있다. 방법：전국의 4개화상 수업 기관 중 가장 많은 학생들이 소속되어 있는 학교(13개 시·도 교육청)를 연구 사례로 선정하였다. 참여관찰과 담화분석의 방법을 활용하여 2017학년도 중학교 1학년 1학기 국어 수업을 대상으로 연구 자료를 생산하고 이를 분석하였다. 결과：해당 온라인 화상 수업의 장(場)에서는 학생들의 다양한 표현이 마이크, 헤드셋, 텍스트 메시지를 매개로 수업 구성원 ‘모두에게’ 공유되고 있음이 드러났다. 그 과정에서 수업 구성원 사이에 개인의 속말, 혼잣말, 말소리 등이 모두 공유됨으로써 국어 수업 대화는 사적인 성격을 매우 강하게 갖고 있었다. 결론：이 고유한 국어 수업의 장에서 학생들은 자유로운 자기표현이 허용됨은 물론이고 타인의 표현 또한 인내심 있게 수용하는 경험을 하고 있다. 그러나 이 담화의 장이 국어 수업의 장이라는 점을 고려할 때 학생들의 표현 및 소통 방식이 윤리성, 목적성, 의미 공유의 측면에서 개선될 필요가 있음을 제안하였다.

Purpose：The purpose of this study is to clarify the characteristics of students’ expression in Korean language arts online video classes for students with health impairments and to suggest how to improve their capability to express themselves in Korean language arts classroom discourse. Methods：To do this, I selected the schools with the largest number of students (in 13 municipalities and provincial offices of education) among all 4 teaching institutes. The research material was produced and analyzed using the method of participant observation and discourse analysis for the Korean language arts class. Results：It has been revealed that the various expressions of students are shared among all the members of the class in the classroom where the microphone, headset, and text message are communicated. In such a special communication space, among all of the members of the class, spontaneous utterances, talking to themselves, and speech sound are shared, so that the Korean language arts classroom discourse has a public character and a very strong personal character. Conclusion：Health-disabled students experience the acceptance of their own speech and learn to accept the speech of others. I suggested how to improve their self expression considering ethics, purposes, and interaction for learning in video class of Korean language arts.
