본 연구에서는 대학생을 대상으로 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움이 발표불안에 미치는 영향에서 사후 반추사고가 매개효과를 가지는지 살펴보고, 경험회피가 이러한 매개효과를 조절하는지 확인하기 위해 조절된 매개모형 분석을 실시하였다. 총 462명의 대학생이 설문조사에 참여하였으며, 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움과 발표불안의 관계에서 사후반추사고가 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사후반추사고와 발표불안의 관계에서 경험회피가 조절효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움이 사후반추사고를 통해 발표불안에 영향을 미치는 경로에서 경험회피가 조절된 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 발표불안을 경험하는 대학생들을 상담할 때, 이들의 경험회피 수준에 따라 차별적인 이해와 개입이 필요함을 시사하는 것이다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의 및 상담에서의 시사점, 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의 하였다.

The study has examined college students as to whether post-event rumination has a mediating effect in the effect of the fear of negative evaluation on speech anxiety, and controlled mediation model analysis was implemented to verify that experiential avoidance controls the mediating effect. A total of 462 college students participated in this study, the results of this study were as follows: First, post-event rumination completely mediated in the relationship of the fear of negative evaluation and speech anxiety. Secondly, experiential avoidance turned out to establish a moderating effect in the relationship between post-event rumination and speech anxiety. Thirdly, it was shown that experiential avoidance had the moderated mediating effect where the fear of negative evaluation influences speech anxiety through post-event rumination. The results suggest that discriminable comprehension and intervention are necessary in counseling with college students who experience speech anxiety depending on their level of experiential avoidance. Based on these results, the significance of this study, implications on counseling, and proposals for the follow-up study were discussed.
