In this thesis, with respect to the structure of saseteitadaku syntax with the causative verb ‘teitadaku’ combined, the structure of saseteitadaku syntax was examined in a systematic way by classifying the causative verbs which are the antecedent verbs.
First, the causative verbs derived from the intransitive verbs constituted the syntax of causative benefactive voice to shed the influence on the action subject of wo case and the transitive verb syntax including things as its objective constituted the syntax of causative benefactive voice to give the influence on the action subject of ni case. In this thesis, these types of syntax were classified as the syntax of direct benefactive voice, which had the voice structure of 「opposition」 with the original syntax of causative verbs with the case transposed for the causative subject and action subject and while it shared the same structure of syntax with the syntax of causative passive voice, it was still opposed to it in respect of the plus and minus benefits.
And in regard of the syntax of 「possessor’s causative benefactive voice」, the causative verb syntax to give the influence on the cases of wo and ni, which are the parts of the action subject of no case, is the original verb syntax. The syntax of this type also had the voice structure of 「opposition」 with the syntax of causative verbs, which is the original verb syntax, with the case transposed for the causative subject and the action subject and the two were opposed in terms of the benefit with the one in plus and the other in minus.
In addition, among the different types of saseteitadaku syntax, there were types where the causative subject did not exist. They are those which use the syntax where the causative subject does not exist to pretend as if the action of the narrator were approved by the counter party, to connote that it is by the favor of the counter party or to anticipate the effect of modesty by taking the syntax format of causative benefactive voice.
