이 글은 황해도 진진오기굿의 연행 구조와 의미를 살핀 글이다. 황해도굿은 현재 서울, 인천, 경기에서 주로 연행되는데 특히 망자를 천도하는 진오기굿이 자주 열린다. 진오기굿은 망자가 죽은 이후 언제 열리는지에 따라 명칭이 다른데 이 글에서 대상으로 삼은 것은 망자의 죽음 이후 49일 전에 주로 열리는 진진오기굿이다. 망자의 갑작스러운 죽음이 가져온 슬픔과 충격에서 벗어나도록 도와주는 굿이 진진오기굿이다. 이 글에서는 황해도 진진오기굿의 굿거리 구성을 살펴보고, <안등신 좌정하기>와 <영실감흥거리>가 진진오기굿을 바라보는 만신의 서로 다른 관점의 반영임을 제시했다. 그리고 진진오기굿을 구성하는 개별 굿거리의 의미를 도출하고 이를 통해 황해도 진진오기굿은 시왕과 사자가 중심이 되다가 마침내 망자를 출연하게 하여 죽음이 가져온 이별의 고통을 치유하고 있다고 보았다. 이것은 망자와 산자의 갑작스러운 단절이 진진오기굿을 통해 소통으로 이루어지고, 굿이 진행되면서 자연스러운 분리로 이루어지고 있다고 제시했다. 결국 황해도 진진오기굿은 죽음에 대한 이해를 높이고 죽음을 수용하게 하는 유용한 장치임을 규명하였다.

This article is on the performance structure and its implication of Jinjinogi-gut of Hwanghaedo. The Hwanghaedo-gut is mainly performed in Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi today, and in particular, the Jinogi-gut that leads the deceased to heaven is frequently held. The Jinogi-gut has different named depending on when it is held after passing of the deceased, and the subject in this article is the Jinjinogi-gut that is mainly held 49 days prior to the passing of the deceased. The gut that helps to break away from sorrow and shock from the sudden passing of the deceased is the Jinjinogi-gut. In this article, the gutgeori (performance of shamanism) composition of the Jinjinogi-gut of Hwanghae-do has been sought, and it presents that < Andeunsin Gwajeonghagi > and < Youngsilgamheunggeori > are reflecting the mutually different point of view of the mansin (10 thousand gods or sometimes, female shaman) that looks at the Jinjinogi-gut. And the implication of individual gutgeori that composes the Jinjinogi-gut is formulated, and through this endeavor, the Jinjinogi-gut of Hwanghae-do has become the center of Siwang (ten underworld kings) and saja (the angel of death), and with the deceased appearing at last, it is considered to be healing of pain from departure from the death. It has presented that the sudden isolation of the deceased and the live people is made in communication through the Jinjinogi-gut, and with the gut (shaman dance) in progress to make natural separation. Consequently, the Jinjinogi-gut of Hwanghae-do has been clarified as it enhanced the understanding of death and it is the useful device to accommodate death.
