본 연구의 목적은 한국어 학습자의 자유 발화에 나타난 용언 활용 오류 양상을 살펴보고 학습자의 특성에 보다 부합하는 용언 활용 규칙의 기술 방안을 마련하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 중국인 유학생 100명의 자유 발화 전사 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 학습자들이 보인 용언 활용 오류 가운데 가장 높은 빈도를 보인 것은 ‘여’ 불규칙 활용이며 매개모음 삽입 오류, ‘ㄹ’ 말음 활용 오류 순으로 나타났다. 그러나 한국어 문법 교재에는 ‘여’ 불규칙 활용과 매개모음 삽입 양상에 대해서는 별도의 항목으로 제시하지 않거나, ‘ㄹ’ 말음 용언 활용 규칙의 개념과 범위에 대한 기술이 일정하지 않은 등 한계점이 많았다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존 한국어 문법 교재의 문제점을 보완하여 학습자에게 실제적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 구체적인 기술 방안 사례를 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to irregular conjugational form errors use patterns of Chinese learners and to learn how verbs conjugate is one of the most important and difficult task for foreign learners of Korean language. For this purpose, I analyzed to spontaneous speech data for 100 Chinese students. As a result of the analysis, Chinese learners' irregular errors were found to be ‘여' irregular conjugational form, but it was not presented as a separate item in the Korean grammar textbook. And there were many limitations in the explanation. In this study complements the problems of existing Korean textbooks. And the contents of the textbooks that provide practical help to learners are presented.
