목적：이 연구의 목적은 과제 수행 조건을 중심으로 창의성 발현을 위한 이야기 쓰기 과제를 구성하는 것이다. 이를 통해 국어과 내에서 창의성 교육의 실효성을 높일 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 방법：논의의 초점은 학습자가 과제 수행 과정에서 충족해야 하는 과제 수행 조건을 설정하는 것이다. 이를 위해 인지적, 언어적 측면에서 창의성과 관습성 간의 관계를 살피고, 이야기 쓰기 과제 구성 원리를 제시하였다. 마지막으로 이야기 쓰기 과제의 실제를 제시하고, 학습자들의 쓰기 결과물을 분석하였다. 결과：이야기 쓰기과제 구성 원리를 밝히면, ‘삶의 구체적 맥락을 반영한 서사적 문제 제시’, ‘이야기 쓰기 과정에 관여하는 관습적 요인 파악’, ‘과제 수행 과정에서 충족 요건의 구체화’ 등이 있다. 과제물 분석 결과, 학습자들이 과제 수행 조건을 일정 수준 이상 충족 할수록, 과제 결과물의 완성도가 높을 뿐만 아니라 내용과 표현 측면에서 참신했다. 결론：과제 수행 조건은 기존의 관습성으로 수렴하지 않으면서, 창의적 과제 수행을 유도하는 방편으로 활용될 수 있다. 앞으로 국어적 창의성 발현을 유도하는 과제 수행 조건에 대해 다양한 논의가 촉발되기를 기대한다.

Purpose：The purpose of this study is to construct a story writing assignment for creativity expression based on performance condition. Method： The focus of the discussion was to establish the conditions under which the learner should fulfill the assignment. To do this, we examined the relationship between creativity and custom in terms of cognitive and linguistic aspects and suggested the principle of composition of narrative writing assignment. Finally, we presented the actual story writing assignment and analyzed the writing results of learners. Results：In terms of the composition of narrative writing assignment, there are ‘presenting narrative problems reflecting the concrete context of life’, ‘identifying customary factors involved in narrative writing process’, and ‘specifying requirements for fulfillment in the task performance process’. As a result, as the learners’ condition of the task fulfilled more than a certain level, not only the completion of the task result was high, but also it was novel in contents and expression. Conclusion：The assignment performance condition can be used as a way to induce creative assignment without converging to conventional custom.
