본 연구는 장애자녀를 양육하는 부모의 삶의 질과 가족기능을 향상시키기 위해 가족캠프 프로그램을 개발하고 실행한 후, 그 결과를 토대로 향후 가족캠프 운영방안을 모색하는 데 목적을 두었다. 가족캠프는 부모의 휴식(힐링), 가족 유대강화, 가족 간 의사소통에 초점을 두고 개발하였고, 열세 가족을 대상으로 1박 2일 동안 천리포 해변과 수목원 주변에서 이루어 졌다. 평가는 CIPP 모형에 근거하여 프로그램 만족도 조사와 2회에 걸친 집단면담을 통해 이루어졌다. 만족도조사의 평정척도문항은 평균을 구하여 분석하였으며, 개방형 문항의 결과와 집단면담 자료는 질적 자료 분석방법을 사용하였다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족의 심리적 건강을 위해 장애아동을 위한 가족캠프는 매우 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 장애아동 가족을 위한 가족캠프를 실시할 때 고려해야 할 중요한 요인은 친자연적인 캠프환경과 장애아동을 이해하는 전문 스텝의 활동이었다. 셋째, 부모에게 자녀 돌봄에 대한 부담을 주지 않고 부모 개인의 힐링을 위한 시간과 환경을 제공한 본 프로그램 운영에 매우 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 참여한 가족은 본 가족캠프 전반에 매우 만족하는 것으로 나타났고, 향후 이러한 캠프가 지속적으로 시행될 수 있기를 희망하였다. 위의 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 제한점과 향후 장애아동 가족을 위한 가족캠프 운영방안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to develop, implement, and evaluate of family camp programs for families with a child with disabilities. This family camp was developed to improve the quality of life of parents and family functions of families with a child with disabilities. Based on the satisfaction results of parents participated in this family camp, this study seeks to find ways to operate family camps in the future. This camp focused on parental respite(healing), family bonding and family communication. Thirteen families participated in the family camp, which took place around the beaches and arboretums in Chollipo for two days and one night. The evaluation was through a satisfaction survey and two rounds of group interviews applying the CIPP model. The scale questions of the satisfaction survey were analyzed by averaging it, and open questions and group interview data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis methods. The main results are as follows. First, it was found that family camps for families with a child with disabilities are very necessary for the psychological health of the family. Second, it was found that the nature-friendly camp environment and the activities of professional staffs were important factors in implementing family camps. Third, it was found that parents were very satisfied at being able to have time for themselves without stress of caring for their children. Fourth, the families who participated in the camp were found to be very satisfied with the overall program, and hoped that these camps would continue to be implemented in the future. Based on the above results, the limitations of this study and suggestions for future implementation of family camp for families with a child with disabilities were provided.
