본 연구는 일반학교 졸업 지적장애인과 특수학교 졸업 지적장애인의 취업 영향요인을 분석하였다. 주요 변수는 장애특성 요인, 심리사회 요인, 가구관련 요인이다. 분석자료는 한국장애인고용공단 장애인고용패널조사 2차 웨이브 2차 자료를 활용하였고, 카이스퀘어 검증, 이분형 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 총 연구대상자는 507명으로, 일반학교 졸업 지적장애인 352명, 특수 학교 졸업 지적장애인 155명이다. 연구결과, 첫째, 일반학교 졸업 지적장애인은 특수학교 졸업 지적장애인에 비해 의사소통능력이 좋은 경우, 인지능력이 높은 경우, 자기효능감이 높은 경우 비율이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 일반학교 졸업 지적장애인의 취업 영향요인은 가구 소득, 가족의 취업지지로 나타났고, 특수학교 졸업 지적장애인의 취업 영향요인은 의사소통능력, 가족의 취업지지로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 일반학교 졸업 지적장애인과 특수학교 졸업 지적장애인의 취업지원을 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

This study analysed factors affecting the acquisition of employment of individuals with intellectual disabilities(ID) who have graduated general and special school. These factors were classified into disabilities-related factors, psycho-social factors, household-related factors. Data from 507 individuals with ID were analyzed using chi-square tests, binary logistic regression analyses using the second wave of the second year Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled(PSED). First, The General schools ID group had significantly higher communication ability, higher cognitive ability, higher self-expression than special schools ID group. Second, Factors affecting employment of individuals with general schools ID group include The household income level, family supports. And Factors affecting employment of individuals with special schools ID group include communication ability, family supports. Base on the results of this study, I suggested for the acquisition of employment supports of individuals with ID who have graduated general and special schools.
