Thus far, dyslexia has been largely understood as a defect that requires special education or treatment. However, when seen from the viewpoint of evolutionary history, the use of letters is extremely recent in human history. In this context, brain scientific studies report that our brains are not optimized for character learning, and Irlen syndrome suggests that individual differences in visual-perceptual acceptance are a universal phenomenon. Meanwhile, mankind has lived in oral tadition almost all the time. From this viewpoint, this study regarded that dyslexia can be an evolutionary product and a universal feature of modern humans, and proposed the restoration of oral tadition for the qualitative development of the education of students with dyslexia. In addition, this study emphasized that this proposal can not only be helpful for the field of education of students with dyslexia but also contribute to the process of changes in the entire education culture where conversations and communality are disappearing.
