목적：이 연구는 초등학교 저학년들의 대인관계 역량 향상을 위하여 감정표현 지도 방법에 대한 것이다. 방법：이 연구를 수행하기 위하여 대인 의사소통 관점에서 화법교육에서 대인관계 역량의 의미를 탐색하고, 대인관계 역량을 향상시키는 방법으로 감정표현 지도 방법을 모색하였다. 그리고 화법교육 과정 및 교재 분석을 통하여 감정표현의 교육 현황을 고찰하고 초등학교 1학년 2개 반 학생들을 대상으로 감정표현 지도 방법과 학생들의 감정표현 양상을 분석하였다. 결과：그 결과 현행 교육과정에서 대인관계 역량을 강조하고 있으나 초등학교 저학년 수준에서는 감정을 표현하는 낱말 학습이 중심이었다. 초등학교 1학년 학생들은 학교에서 생활지도 차원에서 ‘나-전달법’을 배우고, 실제로 사용하고 있었다. 결론：대인관계 역량 향상을 위해 초등학교 저학년부터 감정표현 지도 방법으로 ‘나-전달법’을 가르치고 교재 구성에도 반영할 필요가 있음을 제안하였다.

Purpose：The purpose of this study is to suggest the method of instruction in an emotional expression for improving interpersonal competency of the lower graders in elementary school. Methods：Therefore I examined the interpersonal competency on speaking-listening education from the perspective of interpersonal relationship-centered communication and searched how to teach emotional expression. I analyzed the listening-speaking education area in korean curriculum and the elementary school textbooks with emotional expression education. And I contemplate the aspect of the lower graders’ emotional expression in two classes. Results：As a result, It emphasized on interpersonal competency in current curriculum and focused on the emotional word learning in textbooks. But the lower graders have learned I-message as a life guidance in elementary school and have expressed the their emotion by it. Conclusion：I suggest I-message of emotional expression way in the speaking -listening education contents and the teaching method for improving interpersonal competency of the lower graders in elementary school.
