이 연구는 이효석의 일본어 소설인 「은빛송어(銀の鱒)」(1939), 「은은한 빛(炎の光)」(1940), 「엉겅퀴의 장(薊の章)」(1941)을 통해 그의 일본어 창작 전략을 분석하고, 이상의 작품에서 성취한 이종(異種)의 고쿠고(國語) 탐색의 의미를 묻고자 한다. 이효석의 일본어 소설에서 일본인과 조선인의 관계는 일방적이기보다는 복잡한 층위로 얽혀 있다. 이 둘 사이의 관계에 작용하는 문화적 자장에는 ‘제국/식민’, ‘일본인/조선인’의 구분만이 아니라 젠더와 섹슈얼리티, 의식과 무의식을 교란하는 계급적 습속(habitus)의 문제가 함께 작용한다. 이효석은 자신의 소설에 등장하는 일본인 등장 인물을 반사경으로 일본 독자들이 이 문제를 생각하게끔 유도하는 동시에, 이 관점을 다시 역전하여 식민지 조선 남성에 대한 정신 분석으로 변용(變容)한다. 이것은 조선어 창작자 이효석이 일본어 창작자 이효석으로 확장하기 위해 활용하는 ‘고쿠고(國語)’ 장치의 작동 기제이기도 했다.

The study is about a Japanese novel by Lee Hyo-seok. The detailed analyses are 「銀の鱒」(1939), 「炎の光」(1940), and 「薊の章」(1941). The objectives of this study are as follows. It will analyze Lee's strategy of creating Japanese language. It also considered the meaning of the Heterogenous Goku device. In Lee's Japanese novel, the Japanese-Korean relationship is not one-sided. They are intertwined in complex layers. Cultural magnetic fields work in the relationship between the two. Not only does the distinction between “imperial/colonial” and “Japanese/Korean” work together, but also the problem of habitus disrupting genders and sexuality, consciousness and unconsciousness. Lee Hyo-seok uses a reflector to induce Japanese readers to think about the issue, while at the same time reversing this view to transform it into a mental analysis of colonial Joseon men. It was also a mechanism for the operation of the “Kokugo” device used by Korean language creator Lee Hyo-seok to expand into Japanese creator Lee Hyo-seok.
