본 연구의 목적은 어머니의 양육태도와 놀이참여도가 유아의 스마트폰 과몰입에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상은 서울 및 인천 소재 어린이집에 다니고 있는 만 3세～5세 유아와 어머니 273쌍이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 24.0 version을 사용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 상관분석, t 검정 및 일원변량분석, Scheffe의 사후검정, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 어머니의 양육태도는 어머니의 하루 평균 자녀와의 놀이시간에 따라서 애정적 태도, 거부적 태도, 자율적태도에 유의미한 차이가 있었고, 놀이참여도에서는 어머니의 학력, 직업, 하루 평균 자녀와의 놀이시간에서 차이가 있었다. 유아의 스마트폰 과몰입에서는 어머니의 연령, 하루 평균 자녀와 놀이시간, 유아 성별, 나이에서 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 어머니의 거부적 태도는 유아의 스마트폰 사용 환경에 유의미한 정적 영향을 미치고 놀이참여도는 유의미한 부적 영향을 미쳤으며, 상대적 영향력은 어머니의 거부적 태도가 놀이참여도에 비해 높게 나타났다. 또한 어머니의 거부적 태도와 통제적 태도는 유아의 스마트폰 과몰입 증상에 유의미한 정적 영향을 미치고 놀이참여도는 유의미한 부적 영향을 미쳤으며, 상대적 영향력은 어머니의 거부적 태도, 놀이참여도, 통제적 태도 순으로 높게 나타났다. 결론적으로 어머니의 양육태도와 놀이참여도가 유아의 스마트폰 과몰입에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인임을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of mother's rearing attitude and play participation on smartphone over-indulgence of children. The subjects are 273 pairs of mothers and 3 to 5 years old children who attend daycare centers in Seoul and Incheon. Collected data were analyzed by frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, t-test and one-way variance analysis, Scheffe test, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 24.0 version. As a result of examining mother's rearing attitude, there were significant differences in affectional, rejecting and autonomic attitude according to mother's average playtime with children a day. In mother's play participation, there was a difference in mother’s educational background, job and daily average playtime with children. In the children’s smartphone over-indulgence, there was a difference in the age of the mother, average playtime with children a day, gender and age. Second, In the order of mother's rejecting attitude, play participation, and control attitude, the effects on the smartphone over-indulgence symptoms of children was higher. In conclusion, this suggests that rearing attitude and play participation are important factor affecting children’s smartphone use.
