The distinct individuality of Lee Youngdo’s sijo rises from the plaintive and fundamental longing for absent objects. He entrusts and embodies the emotion of longing to the way of existence natural objects have inherently. Lee Youngdo’s sijo carries out the exploration and discovery of fundamental life force with the method of combining periodic implications and originality of natural objects.
