Living in the age of the 4th industrial revolution, the purpose of this study is to see the employee’s perception on the changeable working environment which is affected by AI (artificial intelligence) and Robot service in the travel and airline industry. In order to achieve the research goal, 3 hypotheses were built based on various resources including the literature background, and the survey data was obtained by the employees working in the travel and aviation industry from 1st of September to the end of October, 2017. The results are as follows; Regarding future application of AI and robot services in the travel and airline industry, it was found that the management level perceived higher than employees. Reservation and ticketing, airport passenger service and airport security service were perceived as starter works replaced by AI and robot service, the management level perceived higher than employees as well. The field of management strategy and staff education were recognized as the least likely to be the replacement of AI and robot services. It was thought that simple tasks would be replaced by AI, that there would be a threat to jobs, that emotional and creative tasks would be difficult to change, and they were generally perceived as higher at the manager level than at staff. They also thought that training experts on AI and robot services, support from the government in law and administration, and shifting and responding in management are important as countermeasures against the introduction of AI and robot services. The educational change for this also was regarded importantly. Reservation and ticketing were revealed as a significant factor affecting AI and robot system. And additional findings and implications based on the results are discussed at the final chapter.
