목적：이 연구의 목적은 2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 국가 수준 학업 성취도 평가 어휘 문항의 정합성을 분석하여 개선 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 방법：연구 대상은 중학교 3학년 및 고등학교 2학년을 대상으로 2015년부터 2017년까지 실시된 국어과 국가 수준 학업 성취도 평가의 어휘 문항이며, 연구 방법으로는 정합성 분석을 활용하였다. 분석 범주로는 내용 범주와 행동범주를, 분석 기준으로는 일치성과 균형성을 설정하였다. 결과：내용 범주의 일치성은 양호한 수준이었으며 균형성은 약한 수준으로 나타났다. 행동 범주의 일치성과 균형성은 모두 부족한 수준이었다. 그 원인으로 성취 기준 내용과 일치하지 않는 문항, 특정 교육 내용에 집중된 출제, 재생 수준 문항의 부적절함, 지나치게 많은 사용 수준의 문항 등을 지적하였다. 결론：이에 대한 개선 방안으로 단순히 어휘를 소재로 하는 문항이 아닌 어휘 교육 내용에 대한 문항을 출제하고, 성취 기준별로 고른 출제를 지향하는 동시에 중요하지 않은 내용에 출제가 집중되지 않도록 해야 하며, 성취도 평가에서 기초 학습능력 평가 기능을 분리하고, 교육과정에 어휘 사용에 대한 내용을 강화할 것을 제언하였다.

Purpose：The purpose of this study was to analyze and suggest ways to improve the alignment between the vocabulary test items of National Assessment of Educational Achievement(NAEA) and the Korean National Curriculum(KNC). Methods：In order to accomplish the goal of this study, an alignment analysis was conducted. Data sources were NAEA vocabulary items from 2015 to 2017 based on the 2009 revised KNC. Results：The findings of the alignment analysis can be summarized as follows. In the content category, the concurrence index value was acceptable, yet the balance index value was weakly met. In the behaviour category, both the concurrence index value and the balance index value were very low. Conclusion：To improve these problems, it was suggested to enhance the content concurrence of vocabulary items, to promote research pertaining to the core values of vocabulary education, to separate the diagnostic function of basic academic achievements from NAEA, and to specify the list of vocabulary in the curriculum.
