본 연구는 국가 간 관광 상호작용의 정도가 국제관광에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. 본 연구에서는 사회연계망분석에서 제공되는 연결중심성(degree centrality)를 활용하여 국제관광에서 국가 간 상호작용의 정도를 측정한다. 국가의 연결중심성 수준을 독립변수로서 또는 종속변수로서 활용하여 국제관광에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 그 결과 연계성의 정도는 통계적으로 유의미한 수준에서 국제관광흐름을 설명하는 중요한 변수임으로 판명되었다.

In the paper, we argue that the level of interaction with other countries in international tourism can be an important base for understanding the process of production and consumption of current international tourism flows. This paper measures the level of interaction using a degree centrality offered by a social network analysis. The results show that the level of connection is a significant variable both as a dependent variable and an independent variable in explaining international tourist flows. The implications are suggested in the conclusion.
