This study compared and analyzed single-person households and multi-person households to examine the factors affecting the resilience of disaster victims. This study analyzed the use of the panel data of the National Disaster Management Research Institute in 2017, and the main results are as follows. First, the resilience of single-family households was significantly lower than that of multi-family households. Second, the factors affecting the resilience of single-person households were derived only from the social support system, whereas in multi-person households, the younger the age, the higher the average monthly income, the higher the subjective health status, the better social support the higher the level, the more positive the support service evaluation is, the higher the resilience is. Therefore, to improve the resilience of single-person households, it is necessary to develop policies and programs focused on the social support system.
