Education in the 21st century requires a new teaching method suitable for the present generation, which is innovative, flexible, and maintains the purity of academia, but is not out of date. The infusion-type teaching method that has been used for a long time in the field of education was a passive model acquired through language, which is a teacher's commentary or explanation, that is, a 'teacher- centered teaching method' which systematically delivers knowledge or information possessed by a teacher. On the other hand, a new teaching method called Gamification, designed with the elements of a game in mind, is popular in Spanish educational settings. In this age, when “studying” has become a societal standard, “learning” has become a joyful play, and the gamer himself is the subject, leading the world within the game and teaching methods that enhance the learning effect are very interesting. This is because the biggest purpose of using game elements in the field of education is so students can display 'modified behavior'. In other words, students themselves participate in games in the form of play to stimulate their learning motivation and achieve their goals. Therefore, this article introduces the term “gaming” that reached its peak in the Spanish educational scene and helps introduce and promote this teaching method to talk about a new class model for the 21st century. In conclusion, I would like to discover the effectiveness of the gamification teaching method based on the results of surveying the learning achievement and students' satisfaction by applying the gamification class to the Spanish classes of the general education requirements in university.
