The aim of this study is to show how to teach culture using non-verbal texts in Korean language education. This study used easily approachable images from advertisements as non-verbal texts and showed that these images could be a useful instrument for introducing aspects of culture into language education. Non-verbal texts like visual images are able to help Korean language learners understand Korean culture without difficulty. For such cultural education using non-verbal texts, Korean teachers should try to find pertinent visual images.
