This paper mainly discusses the influence of 『the Scheme for the Chinese Phonetic Alphabet』 on learning pronunciation of Korean for Chinese students. As a kind of transcription symbols, Pinyin can be used to mark the pronunciation of Mandarin and Chinese characters. When Chinese students learn foreign language, most of them incline to mark the pronunciation by using Pinyin. However, Pinyin is not really a sound symbol, sometimes there is a deviation from the actual pronunciation. Although lots of Chinese pronunciation is similar to the pronunciation of Korean, most of the times there are differences. Even so, the education of Korean pronunciation of the colleges and universities in China generally adopted the way that Korean pronunciation is in comparison with Chinese phonetic alphabet. Therefore, in this paper, we make an investigation into the differences between the phonetic symbols of 『the Scheme for the Chinese Phonetic Alphabet』 and the actual pronunciation. Then we will point out that the phenomenon of Korean pronunciation errors and briefly introduce the solution. (Kyungpook National University, Anshan Normal University)
