This paper discusses Korean cuisine vocabulary education for international marriage migrant women in multi-cultural families. In chapter 2, it examines the current state of Korean cuisine vocabulary education: First, it analyzes Korean cuisine vocabularies presented on the Korean language textbooks, and then it conducts a survey on multi-cultural families female learners' recognition of Korean foods that they want to learn the recipes for. In chapter 3, it suggests the Korean cuisine vocabulary list, practical and authentic education contents for learning using classification criteria of cuisine vocabulary, cuisine lexical field, co-occurred phrases, cooking steps, and recipes. Lastly, it suggests several effective vocabulary learning contents related to the recipes for the particular Korean foods by characteristics of each learning stage. (Sookmyung Women's University)
