This study aims to select educational connective endings of Korean for language learners. The connective endings connect antecedent clause with following clause logically and play a crucial role in understanding of Korean language. But there is a great diversity of connective endings and some of them have several meanings and functions, so Korean learners find it difficult to understand and use them. Therefore it is necessary to make a list of connective endings in priority order for educational purpose.
This study examined data of dictionary for Korean learners, Korean teaching materials and the vocabulary list of TOPIK, and selected educational connective endings through investigating the balanced corpus(Written&spoken &semi-spoken), coverage, frequency(morphological frequency & meaning frequency & the use frequency of the auxiliary connective endings), etc. This study aims to make a educational list of connective endings, and provide a basic data for grading of connective endings.
