The purpose of this work is explore contents of multi-cultural education in the Korean highschool’s textbook ‘Society & Culture’ based the 7th Curriculum. For this purpose, we analyze 7 sort of textbook ‘Society & Culture’. The results of this work are as follows. 1) There are nine factors of multi-cultural education in the textbook ‘Society & Culture’: gender, nation, race, language, religion, social stratification, cooperation, identity, and diversity. 2) The category ‘gender’, ‘social stratification’, and ‘diversity’ occupied high portions sowing the remarkable the difference of frequency from other factors. 3) The category ‘gender’, ‘cooperation’, and ‘diversity’ reflect the reality of everyday life. This work is expected to be used restructuring Curriculum and revising the schoolbook of Social Studies Education. (Inha University)
